Hello Sunshine!

I started V.Russ Images while I was still a student at Texas Southern University (go Tigers!).  I had been taking pictures ever since high school, and one day a friend of mine expressed that she needed graduation pictures, so of course, I volunteered to do them for her! She also knew I enjoyed doing makeup, so I did that too!   When the success of those photos led other clients to me, for both makeup and photography, I decided to birth V.Russ Images – your one stop shop!

What began in 2010 as a passion for capturing beautiful images has grown into a full creative experience—blending portrait and branding photography, event photography, photo booth rentals, and event planning and décor services.

My approach is rooted in storytelling.  Every session and every event is crafted to reflect the personality, purpose, and energy of the people behind it.  Whether I'm photographing a milestone, building visual content for a business, or designing a memorable event, my goal is simple:
